To reserve a spot in advance call 778-883-0295 (available 0700am-1000pm x 7 days) and use any major credit card to make fee payment. Reservations can be made for participants wishing to pay on the day of attendance provided course is being held. Upon successful completion of the course, participants are awarded immediately on premesis, the Canadian Red Cross certificates valid for 3 years.

Step Alive Emergency Training Centre is an authorized training partner of Canadian Red Cross. We have trained and certified over 20,000 participants (as of 2018) and take great pride in preparing general public as well professionals from diverse backgrounds in lifesaving skills. Our participant-friendly-instructors serve in various capacities as emergency care providers and are highly trained individuals. INTRODUCTION TO EMERGENCIES
Length 3-4 hours.
Participants attending the workshop will learn how to save lives by attending to the most common emergencies striking at home and work places.
They will learn what to do in heart attack, stroke and breathing allergy emergencies. Participants will also learn what are the necessary steps to take if someone is bleeding and how to tie bandages. Steps necessary to overcome medical emergencies such as Diabetes, seizures and overdoses will also be discussed. These workshops are conducted by Manjit Singh, MD who has over 15 years of experience as an instructor with Canadian Red Cross and holds Canadian Red Cross certification courses every week.
These workshops being offered are for educational purposes at the courtesy of Step Alive Emergency Training Centre only, and do not come with certifications. Charges for transportation and mileage; $10 per participant may apply. If you need certification a more extensive class can be booked with the instructor (778-883-0295) directly.
